Ever since childhood, Moroccan interior and product designer Ghita Tagmouti was brought up in an artistic family, with her grandfather teaching her to knit while her mother exposed her to all things handicrafts.
After a Master’s in Interior and Product Design and after working several years in architecture firms, she decided to fuse her love for design with that for craftsmanship, creating her brand Artizainer Design with her husband in Casablanca.
A designer with the soul of a craftswoman, Ghita expresses herself creatively through her work, mixing all kinds of materials and techniques to create beautiful homeware accessories such as trays, embroidered wall hangings, and resin wall decors.
Ghita is greatly inspired by local Moroccan craftsmanship which offers a wide-ranging canvas for her imagination to roam wild. Her work is an explosion of creativity, contemporary craftsmanship, and elegant playfulness that will enrich your home and soul in equal measure.
