Meet The Artisans

Granada Taller Textil

An industrial designer born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Veronica Isaac found her love for textiles thanks to a cultural exchange at the University of Valparaíso, Chile, where she learned the pedal loom technique for 6 months.

In love with the processes, she decided to study arts, textiles, and macramé back in Guadalajara and began to work with other artists. Since founding Granada Taller Textil in 2019, the workshop pieces she has made have been decorating spaces in Mexico, the United States, Uruguay and Canada.

Taller Granada is a space dedicated to experimenting with different textile techniques and supporting other women, through trade and entrepreneurship classes. Meaning pomegranate in Spanish, Granada Taller Textil seeks to convey the union of people, thoughts, feelings and techniques to create aesthetic yet functional art, such as natural jute lamp shades for the house.
