Sentient was founded by Jimena Suares, a lawyer and environmentalist with a passion and flair for design. To her, fashion is a form of self expression as well as a platform for creative living. After dedicating much of her personal and professional universe to advocating for environmental causes, Jemina decided to create a brand that would manifest her commitment to an environmentally responsible fashion industry.
Sentient is dedicated to inspiring and generating positive change through Fashion. The brand offers beautiful vegan, cruelty-free clothing and accessories, produced under fair working conditions. Every stylish piece is a result of careful research regarding the material and textile that comprises it, its origin and potential impact on the environment. Animal products are never used. Sentient also makes sure to support organizations that care for ecosystem biodiversity with a portion of their sales profits.
