The Florelo Flower Vase is entirely designed and made by hand by master artisan Estela Cardozo in San Bartolo Coyotepec, Oaxaca, using "Barro negro", or 'black clay' in Spanish. The locally sourced clay is naturally black before firing, worked to perfection in a detail-oriented process.

The porous nature of the clay means the vase is best used as a decorative piece with a composition of a dried flowers, and is not made for holding water. With flowers or without, the vase is a beautifully designed addition to any room in the house.
