This beautiful handwoven Colorful Mexican Shawl is inspired by the geometric shapes and colors used by the late Mexican architect Luis Barragán, who used light and color contrasts to lend a touch of class and magic to every space.

This shawl is 100% handmade using ancestral techniques that have been passed down from parents to children for generations in Oaxaca, Mexico. Every part of the process, from spinning the wool/cotton, to dyeing it with plant products, to weaving and washing it is entirely completed by hand by whole families, whose members each specialize in different parts of the production.
