The gorgeous Meche Luz Plant Pot in matte white is an exquisite piece of design by Jaliscan ceramics studio Raiz, and produced entirely by the expert hands of Mexican artisans. Its neutral matte white finish makes it ideal to accentuate any decor as a standalone decorative piece or in set of two or three of varying sizes.

The outside sealing process and the inner layer of waterproofing, which is made of recycled rubber, make it an excellent plant pot as well. All the tradition of pottery and Mexican culture represented in an innovative and original design.

  • Raiz

Architects Thalía Velasco and Walther Santiago founded their design studio Raíz in Guadalajara, Mexico, with the aim to rescue the long-standing tradition of pottery, one of the most representative Mexican artisanal techniques. Their work blends traditional processes with contemporary design in pieces that highlight the authenticity of the clay and tangibly show human roots and their ability to stand the test of time. Their products are not just pieces of clay, they are characters who seek to tell new stories.
