The elegant Snake Rug is painstakingly woven by hand on a pedal loom by expert rug-makers, using natural colors and materials, meaning each and every piece is unique in its shading, color, shape, and texture. This Rug will immediately complement any space in your home by adding a touch of Mexican flair while helping to preserve strong cultural identities and traditions.

The snake represents knowledge, fertility, eternity, and the connection with the earth, while reminding us of some of Mexico's pre-Hispanic traditions. Designed by M.A. Studio's team of designers and woven by master Mexican artisans, the fabrication of these pieces consists of a chain of artisanal processes that provide fairly-compensated job opportunities to several families.
