The colorful Sun Rug is painstakingly woven by hand on a pedal loom by expert rug-makers, using natural colors and materials, meaning each and every piece is unique in its shading, color, shape, and texture. With its quirky colors and dynamic design the rug is ideal to complement a living room space, as well as bringing a splash of Mexican flair to your children's bedroom.
The sun with a third eye represents life, energy, positivity, clarity, and confidence, while reminding us of some of Mexico's pre-Hispanic traditions. Designed by MA Studio's team of designers and woven by master Mexican artisans, the fabrication of these pieces consists of a chain of artisanal processes that provide fairly-compensated job opportunities to several families.
