The gorgeously dark Guardian Rug is painstakingly woven by hand on a pedal loom by expert rug-makers, using natural colors and materials, meaning each piece is unique in its shading, color, shape, and texture. Moody and classical in its palette, but quirky and particular in its design, the rug will work perfectly as a wall hanging as well, enriching you living room or bedroom alike with a touch of Mexican flair.

The design is inspired by the Mexican indigenous view about Guardians, protective spirits that take care of the territory, life, and energy of forests, rivers, or mountains, reminding us of some of Mexico's pre-Hispanic traditions.
