The Matzune Bowl is expertly handcrafted in resin by a master artisan, who has been perfecting his technique in Mexico for over 25 years. The bowl is perfect for displaying fruit or as a standalone design centerpiece on any surface. The bowl's unique shape is meant to remind the viewer of the circle of life, it is reminiscent of the small bowls mother turtles make in the sand to lay their eggs.

The name 'Matzune' is derived from the Nahuatl word “Maxotetia”, meaning, “guard the eggs here”. Like the turtles which travel distances to complete a cycle, the bowl stores in it a special kind of energy, visible to all who see it.
