Inspired by the Pachyrynchus Banglas beetle, this brightly patterned piece is carved by artisans from the Kamentza community and made from local woods found in the Sibundoy Valley of Putumayo, Colombia. A feat of craftsmanship that draws from different traditions from Colombia’s Indigenous artisanal communities, the wooden base is covered with 25,000 beads, adding depth and precision to this stunning design.
