The Colombian Straw Woven Flat Basket is an invention of utility, beauty and ancestral design that is 100% handwoven and dyed by hand using the fiber of Paja Tetara (a kind of palm tree). It is crafted entirely from sustainable and eco-friendly materials by the Wounaan indigenous community from Choco in Bajo San Juan and inspired by the day-to-day culture of the artisans of Eperara Siapidara.

It combines the craftsmanship, cultures and traditions of two Columbian indigenous communities. Useful, bright and perfect for storing fruit or vegetables, the Woven Plate will dress up your kitchen table or wherever you choose to place it with Columbian elegance.
