Sublimation Ring
The Sublimation Ring tells the story of an instant in nature. The ability for water vapor to crystallize into an icicle on the snowy peaks of Cocuy, where this piece takes its inspiration from. Giving voice to the unpredictability and power of nature, this piece is handcrafted from recycled silver recovered from X-ray machines and left to its own devices to solidify.
In accordance with the jewelry collections of Salvárea, inspired by the greatness and vastness of Colombia’s ecological diversity, this jewel is a piece of Colombian territory, its natural flow and ridges are in part a way of representing the country.
