The Vasija Black Clay Vase II is a nexus of beauty and craftsmanship in Barro negro pottery. The vase is entirely made by hand by master artisan Estela Cardozo in San Bartolo Coyotepec, using "Barro negro", or 'black clay' in Spanish. The locally sourced clay is naturally black before firing, worked to perfection in a detail-oriented process. The striking, tall vase represents the preservation of ancient Oxacan crafts, transformed into contemporary style.

While you won't be able to fill the vase with water due to its organic composition, it works very well as a statement-maker, adding presence to any space in the home or office.
